Welcome to the PC Agriculture Site

Porterville College was established in 1927. This beautiful campus is located at the base of the scenic High Sierra Mountain range in southeast Tulare County and in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. The location of the college is why it is such a great alternative for an agriculture student. The San Joaquin Valley is host to the top 3 agriculture producing counties in the Nation. Porterville is also just 3 hours from Los Angles and 2 hours from the Central California Coast.
The
Agriculture program at Porterville College was reinstated in 1998, and is
directed by instructor Craig Britton. Students can take an assortment of
classes in the areas of agribusiness and plant science. We offer certificates
in Agriculture, transferable courses to the five major agriculture universities
in California, and an Associate of Science Degree. Porterville College also
works close with the local agriculture community to develop internships and work
study programs so students will acquire practical knowledge of the industry.
