5 Steps for Priority Registration

Go to www.portervillecollege.edu then click on the MyBanWeb to begin the process!
Step 1 - Click on the Admission/Update. Freshman complete the admissions application and continuing students the update.
First time students to Porterville College will be issued a Student ID number and Gmail.
The ID is to be used for all college transactions and
Gmail is the mode of communication by the college to students.
Step 2 - Complete ASSESSMENT and ORIENTATION.
Step 3 – See a COUNSELOR to assist you with class selection.
Step 4 - Complete a STUDENT EDUCATIONAL PLAN with a counselor
Step 5 – REGISTER for classes on the web
Call the Counseling Center at 559-791-2329 for your ASSESSMENT and COUNSELING appointment.
Congratulations you’ve completed the Matriculation Process! You may now be ready for Priority Registration!
What is priority Registration?
Students receive a priority registration number based on the total number of units completed and the completion of the matriculation requirements of assessment, orientation, and seeing a counselor. Students who have fewer units or may not have completed all of the matriculation requirements will receive a lower priority.
When do I pay my fees?
You should pay fees when you register. However, you have 10 days after you register to pay your fees and avoid the possibility of being dropped from your classes due to non-payment.
What other features are available on the MyBanWeb?
You may check your registration status, register/Add/Drop classes, class Search, or you may view Schedule/Bills, schedule, unofficial transcript, financial aid records, retrieve documents for submission to financial aid, and many other features.
Must I apply for financial aid prior to registration?
No, registration and financial aid are two separate processes. Porterville College provides a variety of financial aid options. Students may be eligible for grants, scholarships, or work-study. The school provides several resources for students seeking financi aid, including a detailed website, and forms obtainable online (including FAFSA). The college’s website also provides a detailed description of all financial aid available.
